Work jackets are definitely an item of clothing that is not thought of in terms of basic employee equipment. According to current regulations, work clothes do not have to exhibit special protective qualities, as their main task is to protect the employee's own clothing from getting dirty, wet or damaged, and in the case of jackets and sweatshirts, also from rapid changes in temperature. Nevertheless, it is the employer's responsibility to provide employees with work clothes, and just as in the case of pants or work boots, so too in the case of jackets, they should be selected according to the nature of the work performed.
The appropriateness of the use of work and protective jackets can be determined for several characteristic situations, on the basis of which the specific type of clothing provided to employees will also be determined. Division of work jackets
