Product Description
APO eye flushing apparatus is designed for flushing eyes that have been inflamed by a foreign agent. It can be used in emergencies at work, travel and in the household. It is an important piece of equipment in a handy first aid kit. APO is also used in therapeutic eye flushing with aqueous solutions of eye medicines, chamomile and other substances.
The APO apparatus consists of easily disassembled, cleaned and reassembled components, such as a 0.25-liter container made of PE, a tray with a strainer made of PS, a lid for the tray made of PE, and tubes (medical drains) made of PVC. All these items are made of safe raw materials that are approved for the production of medical equipment.
Method of use:
To use the APO device, detach the tub from the container. Then fill the container with 250 ml of water and reinstall the tub on the container, remove the lid. Tilt the head and tightly press the edges of the tub against the eye socket. Then, squeezing the container with your hand, cause water to flow out and flush the clogged eye until the foreign body is removed. After use, the apparatus should be rinsed, dried and placed in a PE pouch.
The apparatus is packaged with an information leaflet in a tightly sealed PE film pouch.
The ZPO Eye Rinse Kit is designed for rinsing eyes that have been inflamed with a foreign agent. The kit has a similar application to the APO apparatus.
The kit consists of the following components: a 10 ml PE cup and two PE ampoules, each containing 10 ml of sterile distilled water produced by "POLFARMA" of Stargard Gdański.
Directions for use:
To use the ZPO kit, rinse the glass with, for example, boiled water. Then fill it with sterile distilled water from the included ampoules. Tilt the head and tightly press the edges of the glass against the eye socket. Then, lift the head to cause water to flow out of the glass and flush the inflamed eye to remove the foreign body. It is recommended to move the eyelids while flushing the eye.
The kit is packaged with an information box in a tightly sealed PE foil pouch (individual packaging). The bulk packaging is a cardboard box with a label, containing 10 unit packs.
The apparatus and kit have an entry in the Register of Medical Devices.
